Role : Accountant - Compliance & Reporting
Location: North Sydney
Employment Type: Contract
About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented Accountant to support monthly accounting, auditing, and compliance activities for our Australia & New Zealand entities. You will facilitate monthly closing, reconciliation, banking, tax matters, and FBT returns, ensuring adherence to local regulations.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with monthly accounting activities and compliance reporting.
- Conduct financial reconciliation and tax filings.
- Support audits and regulatory compliance across AU & NZ.
- Work closely with the controller for banking & financial matters.
- Ensure accuracy and efficiency in accounting operations.
Qualifications & Experience:
- 3-5 years of accounting experience in an MNC environment.
- Background in auditing.
- Knowledge of Australia GAAP, IFRS GAAP, and US GAAP.
- Understanding of Australia & New Zealand tax rules and compliance.
- Familiarity with Oracle Accounting Systems.
- Strong communication skills - Verbal & written.
