Pyrmont location with 2 days WFH. Salary $50 - $66 per hour + super – depending on experience.

The Company

Our client is a highly successful, ASX-listed technology firm. They are implementing a new software and require assistance in this project on an initial 4-6 month temporary contract.

The Role

As the Senior Accountant, you will have exposure to and responsibility for a variety of duties. Reporting directly to the CFO who takes pride in training and mentoring her staff, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):

Assisting with the operational aspects of a large-scale ERP system implementation

Supporting the preparation and cleansing of inventory and related data to ensure a smooth system migration

Performing detailed inventory reconciliations to validate data accuracy prior to go-live

Ensuring inventory information flows correctly into reporting tools and aligns with business requirements

Contributing to broader project tasks and cross-functional collaboration as needed

Undertaking ad hoc duties to support the finance and operations teams throughout the implementation

Your Background

As the successful candidate, you will meet the majority of the following criteria:

Experience with inventory

CPA or CA qualified, or close to completion

Proactive personality and happy to build relations with internal and external stakeholders

Strong communication skills

Please note that ERP implementation experience is not required. We are open to a range of profiles for this role, including:

Candidates on working holiday visas (first or second time) with experience in manufacturing or inventory-heavy environments

Business Analysts with exposure to inventory processes

Financial Accountants or Senior Financial Accountants with a background in manufacturing or strong inventory experience

1st or 2nd time movers from big 4 or second-tier with inventory experience
