ROLE DESCRIPTION:
Job Overview: The primary focus of the Corporate & Workwear Product Developer / Designer is to join the development process for the Ringers Western brand, ensuring each line in this new catergory meets the highest standards of quality, fit, and style. This role emphasises the technical and organisational aspects of product development, with additional support for design functions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Product Development
Oversee the end-to-end development of garment, hat, and accessory lines from concept through to production.
Create detailed technical packs, including size specifications, for offshore suppliers to ensure product accuracy and quality.
Address and resolve quality control claims with suppliers, working closely to maintain product standards.
Facilitate cross-department collaboration to align on product rollout plans and seasonal launches.
Design
Support the creation of new designs, including logo and pattern work as required.
Contribute design ideas and solutions to enhance Ringers Western’s product offering, ensuring that style complements technical functionality.
KEY ATTRIBUTES:
Extensive experience in product development within the apparel or related industry.
Strong technical skills in creating and managing specifications, with knowledge of offshore manufacturing processes.
Attention to detail in fit adjustments, technical packs, and quality control.
Excellent organisational and communication abilities, with a collaborative approach to working with cross-functional teams.
Experience with Adobe Creative Suite or similar design software
