GPH’s mission is to provide equitable heath care with an emphasis on helping vulnerable and at risk of disadvantage populations as well as regional communities. GPH employs over 400 staff including many qualified health and other professionals including peer workers and community workers. GPH operations cover a large regional geographical footprint in NSW and ACT. About the position Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for driving quality and excellence? We are looking for a Quality Officer to join our team!
As a Quality Officer, you will support GPH to maintain a culture of compliance and continuous improvement by overseeing the collection of data and the reporting of information regarding service activity, performance, client outcomes, internal processes and external accreditation processes across GPH. You will also be responsible for identifying opportunities to improve the operational efficiency and effectiveness of services to support the delivery of high quality, safe care. The successful candidate will have excellent attention to detail, be self-directed and motivated to support a culture of continuous improvement.
This is a full-time opportunity based at Wagga Wagga. However, if you are based in another location close to any of our GPH hubs we would be open to discuss. What you'll need
- Relevant tertiary qualifications in health-related discipline, or relevant experience in a quality and/or compliance role. Students working towards such qualifications are welcome to apply.
- Demonstrated experience in compliance and reporting functions.
- Well-developed skills and knowledge of MS Office software including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook
- Strong organisational skills including the ability to prioritise work, manage multiple tasks and competing priorities and meet deadlines.
