Bakers Delight Daylesford is seeking motivated, enthusiastic and energetic Qualified Bakers to join our friendly and dynamic Bakers Delight Team.

Applicants must be available to work a flexible roster and be available 24/7 including public holidays to meet the business’ needs. This is a full-time position, offering approximately 38 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities
Preparation and production of quality bakery products as per Bakers Delight standards.
Ensure bread quality and range is up to standard and delivered in a timely manner to meet customer demands.
Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery.
Weighing flour and other ingredients to prepare dough.
Operating machines and tools to prepare bakery products.
Decorating cakes with glazes, icings, butter-cream and edible toppings.
Preparing pastry fillings.
Coordinating the forming, loading, baking, unloading, de-panning and cooling of batches of bread, rolls and pastry products.
Glazing buns and pastries
Maintaining a cleanliness of machines, tools and premises
Monitoring oven temperatures and product appearances to determine baking times.
To be considered for this role, you need to be able to meet the following selection criteria:
Flexible availability to work across the 7 days of the week, which may include evening work and some public holidays (starting times can be as early as 2am)
Work in a fast-paced team environment and communicate with customers and staff
Portray a positive attitude
Complete duties as directed by your manager/supervisor
Abide by company policies and procedures at all times
Train, develop and supervise apprentices and staff in the Bakery Department
Maintain an effective relationship with all team members of the Bakery
Have an eye for detail
Have good numeracy and literacy skills
Have a sound knowledge of food handling and food safety
Ability to work in a fast-paced team environment
Previous Bakers Delight or similar bakery experience would be an advantage. Applicants with Minimum of 3 years' experience or Certificate III in Baking, as a Baker will have priority for this role.

Salary - $73,150 to $76,515 p/a + Super
