Lead the coordination of various IT projects at Charles Darwin University (CDU)

About the Position
As the Project Manager, you will diligently coordinate the staff and information required to deliver new products or changes to the CDU ICT environment.

This includes the management and preparation of the project schedule, the project risks & issues, its benefits, the project outline, and business case, along with the ongoing reporting of progress in accordance with the standards of the IT department. Projects are expected to be completed on time, be fit for purpose within agreed quality standards, and within agreed scope. It is expected the Project Manager can manage multiple concurrent projects.

About You
To be successful, you will require:
• Industry recognised qualifications in project management frameworks or equivalent
• Demonstratable experience in project managing enterprise-wide projects in releasing technology to the business, business applications roll out, systems or ICT infrastructure implementation or similar.
• Demonstrable experience working with ICT technical staff and multi discipline business stakeholder to refine outcomes, focus on the business need and deliver products fit for purpose.
• Demonstratable experience in working with ICT management and key stakeholders in the communication of issues, management of risks, and the project progress.
• Demonstrable experience developing a communications plan and the coordination of that.
• Significant experience working with Business Analysts, business partners and technical staff.

Additional Criteria:
• Demonstrable experience working with, managing, or administering industry PPM tools.
• Desirable qualifications and/or experience in recognised business analysis, change management and program or portfolio management frameworks.
• Experience working as an SME in specific ICT fields such as networking, AV, applications, systems or ICT infrastructure.

Remuneration
Appointment to this role will be at Professional Level 8/9. The base salary will be in the range of $104,888 to $128,851 per annum. The total remuneration package will be in the range of $122,718 - $150,755 per annum, including 17% superannuation.
