My client is a mid-sized accounting and financial services firm situated north of the Gold Coast. They offer high level accounting and tax services to clients across all industries including multinationals and SMEs. They are after an experienced Senior Bookkeeper to deliver high quality service to their clients.

You will part of a 3 person Bookkeeping team whilst working alongside the Tax team. This multifaceted role will also include the opportunity to work in a training capacity for clients in relation to MYOB and Xero software and day-to-day management of their financials.

Some additional responsibilities include but not limited to:

Managing client ledger

Payroll preparation, payment summaries and reconciliations

Accounts payable and receivable

BAS/IAS preparation, monthly and quarterly

Liaising with ASIC and ATO

Attending client meetings with Accountants as required

Applicants:

Approximately 5 years' experience or more in a similar role, ideally within an accounting firm

Certificate in Bookkeeping and Accounting ideal

Proficient with MYOB and Xero

Adaptable and ability to work well in a team environment

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
