About the role
ECLIPS Manufacturing Pty Ltd is seeking an experienced and driven Manager to lead their Aluminum and Plastics Division. This full-time role is based in Campbelltown, NSW and will play a crucial part in the continued growth and success of the division.
What you'll be doing
Take responsibility for the complete coordination of factory operations including production, logistics, facility maintenance, and workforce wellbeing.
Collaborate with the Operations Team, Office Manager/Administrative team and external suppliers to ensure seamless integration of production with broader business functions such as compliance, finance, procurement, and workforce development.
Maintain visibility and control over all key functional areas affecting project delivery, workplace safety, environmental compliance, and continuous improvement.
Act as the point of accountability for resolving cross-functional issues impacting factory efficiency and resilience.
Manage a team of production workers and support staff, providing leadership, mentoring and performance management.
Lead the ongoing planning and coordination of production activities across aluminum and plastics division including synchronization with other project endeavors and commitments.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance quality, safety and cost-efficiency
Liaise with key stakeholders, including clients, suppliers and cross-functional teams, to deliver outstanding customer service
Ensure compliance with all relevant industry regulations, workplace health and safety standards, and company policies
What we're looking for
Formal qualifications in Engineering (Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial preferred), or equivalent trade qualifications with significant supervisory and planning experience in aluminum and plastics fabrication. (essential)
Demonstrated experience in production line supervision, machine operation coordination, and modular assembly techniques. (essential)
Sound knowledge of fabrication processes involving CNC routers, extrusion cutting, robotic welding, and plastics handling. (essential)
Proven capability in production planning, including workforce scheduling, supply chain alignment, and quality assurance. (essential)
Practical understanding of Workplace Health and Safety regulations and application of SWMS, SDS, and PPE requirements. (essential)
Competence in quality management systems, including ITPs and inspection readiness for client and third-party audits. (essential)
Proficiency in MS Office, SharePoint, and WorkflowMax or similar production/project management platforms. (essential)
Strong problem-solving, decision-making and critical thinking abilities to drive continuous improvement.
A practical and composed leadership style, with resilience and initiative to address daily operational challenges and support strategic improvement.
