Reporting to the Community Infrastructure Coordinator, you’ll play a key role in the administration of hire and lease activities across City-owned venues including community hubs, halls, ovals, and other public facilities. You’ll also provide support on small-scale projects that enhance community infrastructure and contribute to positive outcomes for local residents and user groups.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality customer service to both internal teams and external stakeholders.
  • Monitor facility use, maintenance needs, and compliance with occupational health and safety requirements.
  • Support the planning and delivery of minor infrastructure projects.
  • Assist in financial and reporting duties including invoices, procurement, and budget tracking.
  • Contribute to marketing and promotion of community spaces in collaboration with the City’s Public Affairs team.

What we’re looking for:

  • Experience in facility administration, leasing, or community infrastructure management.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills, with a knack for building positive relationships.
  • Sound organisational skills and the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
  • Knowledge of contract management, leasing procedures, and financial administration.
  • A team player with a can-do attitude and a genuine interest in community wellbeing.

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in community facility management or local government (highly regarded).
  • Knowledge of budgeting and procurement processes.
  • C class driver’s licence.
  • National Police Certificate (within 6 months).
