Our client is an Established, Australian owned local designer and manufacturer of bespoke furniture solutions for the Educational market across Australia. They have been in operation for over 25 years and are official suppliers to the Education, Government and Healthcare sectors across the East Coast of Australia. The company has an excellent range of locally designed and manufactured products and a warm supportive management culture.
The Job
This North Brisbane Territory Management role will see you focus on building relationships with clients in the Pre, Primary & State & Secondary school systems across North Brisbane. We are looking for a experienced Educational Sales Consultant who can network, hunt, build relationships and develop opportunities to tender and quote on furniture or fit out projects. They are a nominated QLD Education supplier so you will have a database of clients to work from, your task will be to build and cement new and existing relationships. The role is very autonomous and based from home and you will report into a local national sales manager and work closely with an established account management team. The rest of the week will see you either client facing on the road or working with internal departments to ensure smooth delivery of projects.
Skills Required
We are seeking applicants who can demonstrate the following skills;
- Proven track record of business development and sales of products / services into the Education / Primary & Secondary school system in QLD.
- Strong territory management experience and ability to plan a call cycle.
- Passion for opening doors, being client facing and building relationships with your clients.
- Ideally established relationships with key decision makers in the Education sector QLD.
- Ability to pick up and be able to sell educational furniture products.
- A self-motivated approach with a desire to be rewarded for your results.
- Strong team player who can work autonomously and collaboratively.
The Package
In return we can offer you a long term career move with a great organisation, an autonomous role and an uncapped earning potential. The salary package is negotiable but structured to work well with a highly motivated Sales & Account Manager. The base salary will be $85-90K NEG + Super +$15k Car Allow + Comms.
