We are seeking a part time & experienced Medical Secretary to join our dynamic team at the Australian Academy of Robotic Orthopaedic Surgeons (AAROS) in Mount Lawley, WA. As a part-time Medical Secretary, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and ensuring the smooth operation of our medical practice.

What You'll Be Doing

Providing exceptional administrative support to our team of orthopaedic surgeons.

Managing patient appointments, including scheduling, rescheduling, and cancellations.

Handling patient inquiries and delivering excellent customer service.

Maintaining detailed and accurate medical records and patient files.

Assisting with the preparation of medical reports and correspondence.

Coordinating the ordering of medical supplies and equipment.

Performing general office duties to support the daily operations of the practice.

What We're Looking For

Proven experience as a Medical Secretary or in a similar administrative role within a healthcare setting.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with patients, doctors, and healthcare professionals.

Strong organisational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask and prioritise effectively.

Proficiency in medical software (electronic medical record systems) and standard office applications.

Attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining accurate and up-to-date medical records.

A compassionate and empathetic approach when dealing with patients.

Discretion and professionalism, ensuring patient confidentiality is maintained at all times.

Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare industry regulations and procedures.
