About the role

We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic permanent part-time Medical Receptionist to join our team at Busselton Medical Practice. As a key member of our administrative staff, you will play a crucial role in providing exceptional customer service and supporting the smooth operation of our busy medical practice.

The position is for 2 set days per week plus relief and approx. 1 in 5 share of Saturday mornings.

About the role

Greet patients and visitors in a friendly and professional manner

Manage patient bookings, appointments and cancellations

Assist with patient registration and data entry

Handle incoming phone calls and enquiries

Provide general administrative support to the medical team

Maintain a clean and organised reception area

Ensure patient confidentiality and adhere to practice policies and procedures

Skills and Experience

Previous experience in a medical reception role

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills

Strong computer literacy and data entry skills

Flexibility to cover relief shifts both rostered and at late notice

Ability to multitask and prioritise in a fast-paced environment

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality

Flexible and adaptable approach to work

Knowledge of medical terminology and practice software (desirable)
