Children's Health Queensland provides services from key locations in the Brisbane metropolitan area and works with the 15 other hospital and health services as well as NGOs and charity partners in Queensland to deliver an integrated network of healthcare services and support across the state.
Your Opportunity:
With guidance from the Statewide Child Sexual Abuse Response Project Lead, the Social Work Project Officer will:
- Lead development key actions or action plan, including performance measures and reporting relevant to the delivery of holistic psychosocial care for children and young requiring sexual abuse examinations and ongoing therapeutic care.
- Establish a Statewide Psychosocial Reference Group to support critical advice and engagement in the development of resources, development of model of care, and service needs.
- Formalise recommendations for operationalising psychosocial model for FME and ongoing care, including recommendations for procedures and/or work instructions as needed to educate and enable staff and optimize performance.
- Provide a critical interface with Queensland HHS Child Protection Units and Social Work in Health Leaders Group to support critical consultation, advice, and engagement.
