About the role
This Financial Accountant works closely with operations and finance. You’ll take ownership of key accounting functions, with exposure across inventory and fixed assets, in a dynamic environment that encourages learning, collaboration, and balance.

Duties/Key responsibilities

• Maintain and reconcile inventory and fixed asset registers
• Assist with month-end close and management reporting
• Prepare BAS, GST, and FBT submissions
• Oversee AP/AR functions and daily transactions
• Collaborate with operations to improve financial processes

Skills and experience

• CA/CPA qualified or progressing towards - ideally coming from an Assistant Accountant/Financial Accountant role
• Experience in a manufacturing or product-based business
• Strong understanding of inventory and asset accounting
• Proficient in accounting systems (e.g., Xero, MYOB, ERP)
• Hands-on, organised, and able to work autonomously
