A highly regarded fund manager with a strong reputation for performance and innovation is seeking a motivated Financial Accountant to join the corporate finance team. Known for its collaborative and high-performing culture, the business offers excellent career development and exposure to a technically strong environment. This role has become available due to an internal promotion. Reporting into the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for:

Managing month-end processes including journals, accruals, and reconciliations

Overseeing accounts receivable, including fee calculations, invoicing, and debtor management

Maintaining fixed asset and lease registers

Preparing balance sheet reconciliations and resolving variances

Preparing and lodging BAS, PAYG, and FBT returns

Assisting with audit prep and year-end reporting schedules

Preparing cash flow statements and supporting financial reporting

Contributing to process improvements and automation projects

To be a successful candidate for this role, you will be CA/CPA qualified with 3+ years of accounting experience, either as a Financial Accountant in a large complex company or in a Big 4/second-tier accounting firm. You will have the ability to work autonomously, possess a can do attitude, be highly organised with great attention to detail, and demonstrate excellent communication skills.
