About the role
An exciting opportunity with an industry-leading organisation currently exists in order to fill a key role in their finance team. This Financial Accountants' position will help assist in the management and communication of the companies’ financial & corporate accounting activities on both a domestic and international scale.

The responsibilities
Reporting into the Financial Manager, your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to);

• Budgeting, forecasting and financial modelling
• Financial reporting and analysis
• Management of the full accounting and month-end processes
• Business partner with key divisional teams on financial results
• Manage the fixed assets register
• Monthly overhead analysis and commentary
• Manage tax compliance, including Income Tax, FBT and BAS
• Prepare the statutory accounts for the business
• Ad-hoc projects as and when required
• Manage multiple direct reports
• Drive continuous improvement in systems, reporting, process and efficiency

The successful applicant
The successful applicant will be a CA/CPA qualified accounting professional and possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills as your ability to interact and engage cross functionally within the business will be crucial to your success. You will be able to work cohesively within a team and also autonomously as well. Additionally, you will have a strong attention to detail and have worked in a large & complex multinational organisation previously.

In addition to this, the successful applicant will have experience with SAP.
