Change Manager – Office Relocation & IT Change | 6-Month Contract
Location: Sydney (50% in-office, 50% WFH)
Contract: 6-month initial contract
Start: ASAP
Are you a Change Manager with hands-on experience leading office relocations and managing complex IT change activities? We’re partnering with an organisation undertaking a major workplace move and are seeking a professional to ensure a smooth transition with minimal disruption to business operations.
This is a fantastic opportunity to take ownership of a high-profile relocation project while working with internal teams and vendors to deliver seamless outcomes across physical infrastructure and systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and manage the change strategy for a large-scale office relocation project;
- Plan and coordinate IT infrastructure moves including servers, networks, and end-user systems;
- Partner with IT, Facilities, and external vendors to ensure all technical and business requirements are met;
- Facilitate stakeholder engagement and communication plans across impacted teams;
- Identify risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimise disruption;
- Establish and manage technical “bridges” for real-time coordination during cutover periods; and
- Ensure documentation, compliance, and approvals are in place throughout the change lifecycle.
What You’ll Bring
- 5+ years’ experience as a Change Manager, including experience managing office relocations;
- Strong understanding of ITIL change management practices (certification preferred);
- Experience planning and executing infrastructure changes, including server and cloud migrations;
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to work across technical and non-technical stakeholders;
- Ability to manage multiple vendors and complex interdependencies;
- Experience working in modern workplace and agile environments; and
- Strong documentation and risk management skills.
