Product Manager – Digital Transformation

Contract | 6 months | $900–$1000 p/d + super | 35-hour week | Parramatta / Hybrid (2 days in office)
Primary Purpose of the Role:

We're seeking a strategic and hands-on Product Manager to support the delivery of digital transformation initiatives within the planning and infrastructure space. This role is suited to someone who thrives in complex, multidisciplinary environments and can translate policy and business needs into tangible digital solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Define a transformation roadmap aligned with business goals and measurable outcomes
• Translate business requirements into clear product specifications and digital strategies
• Partner with stakeholders to scope, refine and prioritise user stories and features
• Lead and participate in detailed discovery workshops alongside UX, CX, and BA teams
• Support the Product Owner in requirements gathering, backlog refinement, and execution
• Bridge the gap between business intent and technical delivery to ensure clear understanding and implementation
• Provide regular project status updates to leadership, highlighting risks, blockers, and opportunities
• Maintain oversight of digital backlog to ensure alignment with strategic priorities
• Contribute to governance, risk management, and benefits realisation processes

About You

• Experienced across the full product lifecycle, from concept to delivery
• Adept at leading transformation initiatives, particularly in sector-specific digital programs
• Skilled in defining and executing product strategies in Agile environments
• Able to synthesise complex policy and operational needs into user-centred digital solutions
• Confident collaborating across UX, technical, and executive teams
• Deep understanding of change management, stakeholder alignment, and cross-functional leadership
• Knowledge of modern development practices and emerging tech trends
• Government or regulated sector experience highly regarded
