The Role

We're looking for a proactive GIS Analyst ready to take on a mix of mapping, data analysis, GIS system administration, training, and client support. This is a hands-on role ideal for someone who enjoys variety, innovation, and working directly with clients.

You’ll:

Create professional maps, dashboards, and spatial tools

Manage and analyse spatial and non-spatial data

Assist in solution development and application design

Provide technical support and deliver training

Write procedures, metadata, and spatial governance documents

Liaise with private companies and government agencies

About You

We’d love to hear from you if you:

Hold a relevant tertiary qualification (GIS, Geography, Planning, etc.)

Have 2+ years of experience in a GIS-related role

Communicate well and enjoy working both independently and collaboratively

Are located in or near Newcastle/Central Coast NSW (preferred) — or open to remote

Bonus points for experience in:

ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online

Python, Model Builder, or automation

Client-facing or consulting environments

Creating web maps and field data collection apps
