About Us: EMR QLD is a leading mechanical engineering company that specializes in Pumps , Electric motors and Gearbox repairs. We're seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the installation, maintenance and repair of pumps and pumping infrastructure.

Role: Leading Hand, Experienced Pump Repair Fitter and Turner

Key Responsibilities:

Diagnose, repair, and maintain a variety of pumps and related equipment.

Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on pumps.

Assemble and disassemble pumps for repair or replacement of parts.

Conduct troubleshooting and provide solutions to technical issues.

Collaborate with team members to complete projects according to specifications and deadlines.

Ensure compliance with safety standards and protocols.

Requirements:

Proven experience as a Pump Fitter or similar role.

Overhaul experience with Submersible, Centrifugal, Lobe and progressive cavity pumps etc. (Essential)

Experience with gearbox and electric motor overhaul and repairs (Essential)

Strong mechanical aptitude

Strong knowledge of pump systems and components.

Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and drawings.

Proficiency in using hand and power tools and workshop machinery.

Excellent attention to detail and precision in work.

Safety-conscious mindset.

Valid manual driver's license

Advantageous ( Not Essential )

Restricted electrical licence

Confined space

Working at heights

Forklift licence
