About the Role - This role will be a rotating roster - both days and nights

The client are currently looking for a Maintenance Fitter to join the team. Reporting to the Maintenance Supervisor, this role is responsible for providing maintenance support across the plant as required.
Your key responsibilities will include:

• Ensuring maximum equipment uptime is achieved by providing effective and efficient mechanical preventative and breakdown maintenance
• Engaging in making, fitting or repairing mechanical machines, instruments or appliances to ensure equipment and facilities are in optimum condition for their intended use
• Other responsibilities that may come up from time to time, such as working on projects

An additional $5,000 Sign-On bonus is provided

About You

• Fitter and Turner trade qualifications and post-trade experience (ideally a minimum of 2 years)
• Ability to work autonomously as well as in a team environment
• Previous experience in maintenance/repair in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
• Ability to work shift work including rotating roster, day and afternoon shift
