Maintenance Mechanical Fitter

Our client is seeking a skilled and motivated Maintenance /MechanicalFitter to join their team long term, specialising in Fixed Plants and Machinery. This role offers hands-on work, a supportive environment, and opportunities for ongoing overtime.

About the role:

• Carrying out preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, fault diagnosis, on-site repairs, and troubleshooting.
• Working with crushing mills, ball mills, conveyors, platforms, and various processing plant equipment.
• Primarily mechanical work, with occasional welding.
• Hands-on experience in both workshop and site environments.

Requirements:

• Mechanical Trade Qualification
• Manual Drivers Licence
• Confined Space (Within 3 years)
• Working at Heights (Within 3 years)
• High Risk - WP & LF

What’s on offer:

• Casual Rate: $55.00 per hour + penalties
• Permanent Rate: $45.00 per hour - $50.00per hour + penalties
• Consistent hours with Overtime Available
• Site Work Locations in Pinkenba
• Workshop Based in Northgate
