About the role

As a Construction Foreman, you will play a vital role in ensuring the successful delivery of construction projects for BestBuild Fitout & Construction. Based in Diggers Rest, VIC, this full-time position will see you leading and supervising teams of skilled tradespeople to complete a diverse range of commercial fitout projects.

What you'll be doing

Oversee the day-to-day operations of construction sites, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety and quality standards

Coordinate and schedule the work of trade teams, allocating tasks and monitoring progress to keep projects on track

Liaise with clients, subcontractors and other stakeholders to address issues and maintain positive working relationships

Provide hands-on guidance and mentorship to the construction team, developing their skills and capabilities

Monitor and report on project budgets, timelines and KPIs, identifying and resolving any problems that arise

Ensure all construction activities are carried out in line with company policies, procedures and safety requirements

What we're looking for

Extensive experience as a Construction Foreman or Supervisor, with a proven track record of leading successful construction projects (minimum 10 years)

Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials and relevant industry regulations and standards

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse teams

Highly organised, with the capacity to multitask, prioritise and problem-solve under pressure

A focus on safety, quality and efficiency, with a commitment to continuous improvement
