Are you a passionate and detail-oriented Event Coordinator looking to join a luxury 5-star venue? The Continental Sorrento is seeking an enthusiastic professional to support our Event Sales team in delivering premium weddings, conferences, and social events.

The Continental Sorrento is a world-class destination known for its stunning heritage-listed charm, breathtaking ocean views, and exceptional hospitality. Our venue hosts an array of high-end events, from grand weddings to corporate functions, offering a seamless experience for our clients.

The Role:

As an Event Coordinator, you will work closely with the Event Sales Executive to bring events to life. You will assist in planning, coordinating, and ensuring the flawless execution of weddings, corporate functions, and social gatherings. Your role will involve liaising with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver seamless events that exceed expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Support the Event Sales team with event planning, client communication, and administrative tasks.
Assist in managing event bookings, contracts, and proposals.
Coordinate event details, including floor plans, catering, AV requirements, and timelines.
Liaise with clients to ensure all event details are confirmed and executed as planned.
Prepare and distribute Banquet Event Orders (BEOs) to internal teams.
Conduct site tours and attend weekly planning meetings.
Work closely with the operations team to ensure smooth event execution.
Provide outstanding customer service and ensure client satisfaction.

About You:

Experience in event coordination, hospitality, or a related field.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Excellent communication and client relationship management.
Ability to multitask and work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
A team player with a proactive and solutions-focused mindset.
Familiarity with CRM systems and event booking platforms is an advantage.
