The Scott Pickett Group and SP Events is seeking an experienced BOH operations and events chef with a proven background in catering and multi venue food production.

This is an exciting opportunity to work with one of Melbourne’s most prestigious and fast-growing hospitality groups as they expand the off-site events arm of their business.

SP Events will cater for off-site events under Scott Pickett’s restaurant brands; Estelle, Matilda, Chancery Lane, Longrain and Pickett’s Deli as well as supporting production and purchasing for our group of restaurants. Events will range from private parties, weddings, and corporate functions to large-scale public events.

The successful candidate will be responsible for

purchasing and production for multiple venues

production and delivery of off-site events

management of market runs and venue deliveries

recruitment, training and supervision of production chefs

management of wage costs, productivity and expenses

management of receiving, purchasing, storage and stock control

management of occupational health and safety policies and procedures

the maintenance
