Secret Sauce Solutions is partnering with a highly regarded, collaborative environmental and occupational health & safety consulting business to recruit an experienced and proactive full-time permanent Operations Manager.

This is a unique opportunity to step into a pivotal role supporting a small but mighty team. You’ll run internal operations, manage admin and office functions, and work closely with senior leaders to help the business run smoothly behind the scenes.

What you’ll be doing

As the Operations Manager, you’ll take ownership of internal operations across systems, people and projects. You’ll help drive efficient workflows, reception coordination, and business support. The core role is to:

Manage internal operations, including daily workflows, systems, and business processes to ensure smooth, efficient functioning.

Oversee office and reception coordination, ensuring a professional front-of-house experience, and maintaining supplies, mail, and meeting rooms.

Provide executive support to the Managing Director — including travel bookings, event logistics, and subscription/software management.

Manage external vendors including IT, travel, maintenance, and office services.

Own HR administration via Employment Hero, including onboarding, offboarding, and employee changes.

Support internal communications and team culture, helping keep people engaged and connected.

Deliver internal projects, such as office improvements, technology upgrades, and operational enhancements.

Ensure operational compliance, including WHS processes, supplier records, and risk register maintenance.

What we’re looking for

5+ years’ experience in operations, project management, or administrative leadership — ideally in a professional services or consulting firm.

Hands-on leadership skills and the ability to influence across all levels of a business.

Demonstrated experience improving internal systems and processes.

Highly organised and confident managing competing priorities.

Tech-savvy, people-focused, and calm under pressure.
