We are a crew of accountable go-getters on a journey of continuous improvement – we collaborate and support each other, working hard to win for our customers, for our business, and for each other. Whilst winning isn’t everything, we are proud of our success and love it when we reach the #1 spot.
ABOUT THE ROLE
Looking to take the lead in shaping top-tier talent experiences across ANZ? We’re searching for a driven and passionate Talent Acquisition Partner to lead recruitment at Custom Fleet. As our sole TA specialist, you’ll play a key role in attracting top talent, delivering a standout candidate experience, and being the face of our brand in the talent market by championing our Employee Value Proposition (EVP). This role goes beyond recruitment – you will also get involved in meaningful projects that advance our Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging (DEIB) strategy—helping position Custom Fleet as an employer of choice for diverse and exceptional talent.
You’ll make an impact though:
End-to-End Recruitment Delivery:
Managing a portfolio of 10–15 requisitions at any given time, delivering to agreed cost, quality, and time benchmarks.
Partnering with hiring managers to identify the skills and capabilities required for each role and determine the most effective channels and messaging to attract talent.
Candidate Experience & Hiring Manager Support:
Shortlisting and coordinating one-way candidate video interviews, phone screen potential candidates, and present well-matched recommendations to hiring managers.
Providing interview coaching and guidance throughout the recruitment process, occasionally attending interviews and co-facilitating Custom Fleet’s Leadership Foundations: Licence to Recruit training to build hiring capability.
Offer Management, Reporting & Diversity Goals:
Supporting hiring managers with candidate offers and feedback delivery, ensuring a timely and positive candidate experience.
Tracking and reporting recruitment metrics to ensure key Balanced Scorecard (BSC) targets—such as women’s attraction and promotion—are met, while embedding inclusive practices aligned with our culture and values.
Talent Brand, Projects & Strategic Initiatives:
Championing our employer brand through digital channels, support content creation (e.g. ‘Custom Chats’ videos), build talent pipelines for critical roles, and conduct exit interviews to support retention strategies.
Leading recruitment transformation initiatives including the Oracle Recruitment Cloud implementation, while contributing to projects that improve candidate experience and partnering on key Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Belonging (DEIB) initiatives.
ABOUT YOU
To be successful in securing a role with our crew it’s likely you’ll come with experience in the following areas:
Degree in Human Resources or related field highly regarded. Equivalent experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
5+ years’ experience in recruitment (in an inhouse or RPO model) or human resources. Recruitment experience against a broad, generalist range of roles preferred.
Experience implementing new recruitment systems and processes i.e. ATS.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey information clearly and engagingly, alongside strong influencing and negotiation abilities to effectively engage and secure top talent.
Strong organisational skills with a high attention to detail, able to manage and prioritise multiple tasks in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
Collaborative and service-oriented, with a strong understanding of employment legislation across Australia and New Zealand and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.
