About the role

An exciting opportunity has become available for a skilled Sales Consultant to join the Proline Floors' team. As a Sales Consultant, you will be responsible for promoting and selling Proline Floors' high-quality flooring solutions to customers in the Victoria and Tasmania regions.

What you'll be doing

• Developing and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing customers to understand their flooring needs
• Providing expert advice and recommendations on the best flooring options to meet customer requirements
• Generating sales leads and proactively following up on inquiries to convert them into sales
• Preparing and presenting comprehensive sales proposals and quotations
• Negotiating and closing sales deals while ensuring customer satisfaction
• Staying up-to-date with the latest product innovations, trends, and industry developments
• Accurately documenting all customer interactions and sales activities
• Collaborating with the wider team to support the overall sales and marketing efforts

What we're looking for

• Proven track record in sales, preferably within the flooring or home improvement industry
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills to overcome objections and close sales
• Thorough understanding of flooring products, installation, and industry trends
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets
• Proficient in using CRM systems and MS Office applications
• A positive, customer-centric attitude and a commitment to providing exceptional service
