As we continue to expand our footprint across Australia, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Sales Territory Manager to join our highly experienced team. You will be responsible for driving new business development and acquiring new customers within rural Victoria, NSW & the NT, whilst maintaining strong relationships with our existing strong customer base.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales growth, strong relationship-building skills, and the ability to identify opportunities for expanded offerings.
Those who are successfully demonstrating their hunter/gatherer skills will be favourably considered.
What will you do?
Business Development: Identify and pursue new sales opportunities in your designated territory through networking, cold calling, and leveraging existing relationships to deliver the companies set sales targets.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with potential and existing customers, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions.
Sales Strategy: Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate new markets and increase overall market share.
Sales Forecasting: Prepare and present sales forecasts, track performance metrics, and report on sales activities to management regularly.
Collaboration: Work closely with the Customer Service Centre to design effective campaigns and promotions that will drive lead generation and conversion.
Training: Provide training and support to customers on product usage and benefits, assisting with product selection and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Administration: Manage sales pipelines, update CRM systems accurately, and ensure timely follow-up with prospective customers.
What do you bring?
A proven track record of achieving sales goals and driving revenue.
Strong experience as a Sales Representative or Sales Territory Manager, exposure to Water Treatment, Irrigation, Plumbing, Agribusiness would be an advantage but not essential.
Demonstrated ability to recruit and engage new customers, while maintaining growth in an existing sales budget.
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Proficiency with a CRM and MS Office Suite.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the territory.
