Role Description

An exciting opportunity has become available for an experienced Quality Assurance Manager to lead quality and safety initiatives across a fast-paced aluminium manufacturing environment. This role is based in Sydney and reports directly to the NSW Operations Manager.

The ideal candidate will bring hands-on experience across all stages of the manufacturing process—from raw production through to final finishing. A strategic thinker with a pragmatic approach, this individual will be responsible for building robust workflows and frameworks that support product quality, regulatory compliance, and workplace safety. Strong team leadership and stakeholder communication skills are essential, as is a background in driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

Develop, implement, and maintain quality assurance processes across all manufacturing stages

Drive quality control strategies, ensuring compliance with industry standards and internal benchmarks

Lead the creation of safety workflows, working closely with operations and production teams

Conduct regular audits and inspections to identify process gaps or areas for improvement

Work collaboratively with production and finishing teams to embed a culture of quality and safety

Provide leadership, coaching, and performance management to a small QA team

Act as the key liaison between internal departments on quality-related matters

Monitor and report on quality metrics, recommending corrective actions as required

Support the NSW Operations Manager in achieving operational excellence and compliance goals

Salay and Benefits

Base $120k - $150k | Super 11.5%
