An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Junior Accountant to work closely with the Finance Manager. This role offers diverse responsibilities and excellent development prospects, including:

Managing accounts payable and receivable transactions with accuracy and timeliness

Creating and updating financial records and supporting documentation

Supporting monthly and quarterly financial close procedures

Conducting bank reconciliations and balance sheet account analysis

Participating in budgeting processes and financial planning activities

Coordinating with team members and vendors on finance-related inquiries

Identifying opportunities to enhance finance department workflows

Taking on additional financial projects and tasks as needed

The position serves as an ideal stepping stone for your accounting profession, allowing you to support significant construction initiatives that positively impact local communities.

To be considered for this role you will have at least 1-2 years' experience working in an accounts payable role within a large organisation, and ideally studying towards a CPA/CA. You will also have excellent communication skills, be an analytical thinker with high attention to detail and enjoy working as part of a collaborative and committed team.
