The Role

This is a broad Assistant Accountant role that will provide great exposure and opportunities to learn.

Your initial duties as Assistant Accountant (training provided) will include but not be limited to:

Process weekly payment runs including employee reimbursements and supplier payments.

Bank reconciliations and intercompany reconciliations.

Month-end processing including journals and credit card reconciliations.

Assist with BAS, payroll tax and regulatory reporting.

Support internal reporting and head office submissions.

Your Background

This Assistant Accountant position is an excellent opportunity for a Junior Accountant looking to step up in their career and is suited to a candidate who is hungry to learn.

To be considered for this Assistant Accountant role you will have the following attributes:

At least 1-2 years in a broad role encompassing reconciliations, AP and AR.

Actively studying towards CPA/CA qualification.

A great attitude and willingness to learn.

High attention to detail and initiative to ask questions.
