About the role

As the Assistant Venue Manager at the Bellbowrie Sports and Community Club, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the day-to-day operations of this exciting multi-purpose venue. This full-time position is based in Bellbowrie, QLD 4070 and offers a dynamic and rewarding opportunity to contribute to the success of this thriving community hub.

What you'll be doing

Assisting the Venue Manager in leading and motivating a team of hospitality and events staff

Ensuring the smooth and efficient running of all Club operations, including food and beverage services, events management, and facility maintenance

Monitoring and reporting on key performance metrics to drive continuous improvement

Fostering a positive and customer-centric culture within the Club

Actively contributing to the development and implementation of strategic plans and initiatives

Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory, and safety requirements

What we're looking for

Minimum 2-3 years' experience in a similar assistant or venue management role within the hospitality or events industry

Strong leadership and people management skills, with the ability to inspire and develop a team

Excellent customer service orientation and the ability to foster positive relationships with members, guests, and stakeholders

Proficient in financial management, budgeting, and reporting

Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to work under pressure

Flexible and adaptable, with the capacity to work evenings, weekends, and public holidays as required

Relevant qualifications in hospitality, events management, or a related field would be highly regarded

Approved Manager / RMLV / Gaming Nominee / RSA & RSG Certificates
