Club Chermside, established for over 75 years, is a Community Club in Brisbane's Northern Suburbs that is currently on the lookout for an Assistant Venue Manager.

This role will be a new addition to the venue as we are in the process of expanding our team due to business trends. We are seeking an enthusiastic, driven manager in a full time capacity that is willing to learn all aspects of the venue's day to day operations.

To be considered for this role you must have a minimum of two years experience in a similar role, be willing to work nights and weekends on a flexible roster and be able to handle the unexpected challenges that all hospitality roles are presented with on a daily basis.

Essential Role Requirements Are:

Current Approved Managers Licence

RMLV

RSA and RSG

First Aid / CPR Certificate

Ability to comply with all legal regulations, legislation and responsibilities

Excellent time management

Sound knowledge of cash reconciliation and banking

Gaming operations experience (TAB, Keno and Pokies)

Stock control and invoicing

Rostering and staff training

Customer complaint handling

Must have impeccable presentation

Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
