About the role

Join Advanced Automotive Care' as a full-time Mechanic based in our Thomastown, VIC 3074 workshop. In this hands-on role, you will be responsible for the diagnosis, repair and maintenance of a wide range of vehicles to the highest industry standards.

What you'll be doing

Perform routine maintenance and inspections on customer vehicles

Diagnose and repair complex mechanical, electrical and electronic issues

Test and verify the functionality of vehicle systems and components

Maintain detailed service records and provide transparent communication to customers

Adhere to all workshop policies, procedures and safety standards

Assist with managing workshop workflow and inventory as required

What we're looking for

Formal qualifications in automotive mechanics, such as a Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology

Proven experience as a Mechanic, ideally within the automotive industry

Strong problem-solving, critical thinking and diagnostic skills

Excellent communication and customer service skills

Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Current driver's license and your own tools
