Position Summary

We are currently seeking a qualified and experienced Motor Mechanic to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful applicant will carry out a variety of mechanical repairs, diagnostics, servicing, and maintenance work on passenger and light commercial vehicles.

Key Responsibilities

Inspecting vehicles and diagnosing mechanical faults

Repairing engines, transmissions, brakes, steering, suspension, and other systems

Performing scheduled maintenance and logbook servicing

Using diagnostic equipment to identify issues and carry out repairs

Maintaining accurate service records and adhering to workshop procedures

Keeping a clean and safe work environment

Liaising with customers where necessary to explain issues or provide updates

Qualifications, Skills & Experience

Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent

Minimum 1 year of relevant work experience post-qualification

Sound knowledge of automotive systems and diagnostics

Ability to work independently and as part of a small team

Good communication and time management skills

Manual driver’s licence (preferred)

Salary

The annual salary for this full-time position ranges between $65,000 and $75,000 plus superannuation, depending on the level of experience and qualifications.
