Position: Motor Mechanic
Salary: $75,000 - 100,000 Subject to Experience
Hours: 38 hours + 2 Hrs Overtime

We are located 60 meters from a tram stop on Sydney Road, 100 meters from Anstey train station, and only 6 km from Melbourne CBD. We can perform car servicing for petrol and diesel cars, 4WD and light commercials as well as logbook servicing for a new car to retain the new car warranty.

We service and repair European cars also.

Our workshop is equipped with the latest computerised diagnostic equipment including a dyno-tuning machine and we have a large clean 20+ bay workshop with 7 hoists and 5 mechanics. We are licensed by VicRoads to perform roadworthy inspections and issue roadworthy certificates. We are accredited by VACC which ensures that we provide the customer with a high standard of workmanship and the

most up-to-date knowledge on your vehicle.

We are giving you an exciting opportunity to join the elite team based in Brunswick, VIC. We are looking for a team member to join our friendly Motor Mechanics who are proud and passionate about cars. The candidate in mind will be expected to perform the following duties that include but are not

limited to:

· Repair, maintain and test motor vehicle and other internal combustion engines and related mechanical components.

· Detecting and diagnosing mechanical and electrical faults in engines and parts.

· Dismantling and removing engine assemblies, transmissions, steering mechanisms, and other components, and checking parts.

· Repairing and replacing worn and defective parts and reassembling mechanical components and referring to service manuals as needed.

· Performing scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, lubrications, and engine tune-ups, to achieve smoother running of vehicles and ensure compliance with pollution

regulations.

· Reassembling engines and parts after being repaired.

· Testing and adjusting mechanical parts after being repaired for proper performance.

· Diagnosing and testing parts with the assistance of computers.

· Self-starter with strong self-management skills.

· Strong team player with ability to communicate directly with peers, managers, and clients.

· Excellent attention to detail.

· Competency in all the duties listed above.

Qualifications

· Certificate III, IV and Diploma in Automotive with on-the-job experience.

Seeking a senior Mechanic with at least 6 years of experience.
