As a Motor Mechanic, you will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining a range of vehicles—from everyday cars to high-performance models—helping us deliver the same high standards in mechanical work that our clients have come to expect from our detailing services.

Key Responsibilities:

· Inspect and diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in vehicles using modern diagnostic tools and technical expertise.

· Perform repairs and maintenance on engines, transmissions, suspension systems, brakes, steering mechanisms, and other key mechanical components.

· Carry out scheduled maintenance services, such as oil changes, brake inspections, and engine tune-ups, in accordance with manufacturer specifications and logbook requirements.

· Reassemble engines and mechanical components after repairs, ensuring proper functionality and safety.

· Test and adjust repaired mechanical and electrical systems using diagnostic tools and equipment to confirm performance, safety, and compliance with regulatory standards.

· Conduct quality control checks to ensure all services meet industry standards and customer expectations.

· Maintain clear and accurate records of repairs and services, including parts used and time allocated, in line with company procedures and compliance requirements.

· Stay updated with industry trends and technical advancements in automotive repair, ensuring the highest level of service.

· Provide customer service by explaining the necessary repairs and maintenance services to clients, ensuring clear communication regarding vehicle issues.

· Ensure all repairs and maintenance comply with safety and environmental regulations while maintaining a clean and safe workshop environment.

Requirements:

· A relevant trade qualification in automotive (minimum Certificate III), with Certificate IV qualifications highly regarded.

· Minimum 1 year of hands-on experience as a Motor Mechanic, with a focus on diagnostics, servicing, and mechanical repairs including component replacement.

· Proven ability to inspect, diagnose, and repair mechanical and basic electrical faults across a variety of vehicles.

· Strong understanding of vehicle systems, including engines, transmissions, suspension, brakes, steering, and exhaust systems.

· Familiarity with logbook servicing and ability to follow manufacturer specifications and industry standards.

· Proficient in using diagnostic tools, workshop equipment, and interpreting technical manuals.

· High attention to detail and commitment to workplace safety, environmental compliance, and quality assurance.

· Ability to maintain accurate service records in line with company procedures and regulatory requirements.

· Excellent communication skills with a strong customer service orientation.

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

· A current and valid driver's licence is essential.
