Are you an experienced CNC Machine Operator with a focus on laser cutting?

Our client, a globally recognised leader in fire safety and life protection solutions, is looking for two (2) skilled CNC Machine Operators with Laser Cutting experience to join their high-performing team at their Yennora facility.
As a CNC machinist you will play a crucial role in manufacturing precision components for fire safety systems and industrial equipment.

To excel in this role, you should possess technical proficiency & familiarity with CNC operation, with a high attention to detail as well as have capability to stand for extended periods and handle materials as needed during the machining process

Core Responsibilities

• Machine Setup and Operation: Configuring CNC machines to produce parts according to technical specifications. This includes selecting appropriate tools, loading raw materials, and initiating machining operations.
• Blueprint Interpretation: Reading and interpreting engineering drawings and CAD files to determine machining processes and parameters.
• Quality Control: Using precision measuring instruments to inspect finished parts, ensuring they meet specified tolerances and quality standards.
• Maintenance and Troubleshooting: Performing routine maintenance on machines and troubleshooting any issues that arise during the machining process to minimize downtime.
• Safety Compliance: Adhering to workplace safety regulations, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE) such as safety glasses and ear protection, to maintain a safe working environment

What We're Looking For:

• Previous experience in CNC machine operation, specifically laser cutting
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality

What's in It for You?

• Casual Hourly rate of $33-$35 + Super dep on exp + OT as required
