A leading steel distribution company based in Wetherill Park is seeking an experienced CNC Machine Operator to join their growing team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in steel processing and machine operation to secure ongoing, full-time work with the potential for permanent employment.

Position Details:

• Location: Wetherill Park
• Shift: Day Shift - 5:00am to 1:00pm
• Pay Rate: $36.33 per hour
• Schedule: Monday to Friday (occasional overtime)
• Employment Type: Casual-to-perm

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate CNC steel cutting machines with a focus on precision and quality
• Perform machine checks and basic maintenance to ensure optimal performance
• Interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Inspect completed work for accuracy and quality compliance
• Follow all safety protocols and procedures
• Assist with material handling using overhead gantry crane when required

Requirements:

• Previous experience operating CNC steel cutting machinery is essential
• Background in structural or reinforcing steel highly regarded
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
• Physically fit with a strong work ethic
• Overhead crane experience preferred
• Reliable and available for ongoing Monday to Friday work
