Position Overview:
As a Accounts Manager, you will play a key role in driving new business development and managing existing partnerships. You will work closely with the Director of Partnerships and the broader team to acquire, manage, and expand partnerships with a focus on environmental impact and sustainability. This role combines strategic planning with hands-on execution, as you will be responsible for identifying opportunities, negotiating deals, and ensuring the successful implementation of programs and campaigns.
Key Responsibilities:
New Business Development: Identify and develop new partnership opportunities within current and new customer bases. Drive the acquisition of new clients through effective lead generation, networking, and business development strategies.
Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with both new and existing partners, ensuring mutual value is delivered.
Campaign Management: Oversee the negotiation, development, and implementation of recycling programs and campaigns for partners, ensuring campaign objectives are met and performance is tracked.
Strategic Planning: Develop and implement innovative partnership strategies to expand both current and new partnerships. Evaluate potential partnerships, identifying optimal opportunities for growth.
Sales & Performance Targets: Achieve monthly sales targets and KPIs by effectively driving business development efforts, managing client portfolios, and identifying new opportunities.
Proposal & Reporting: Support Account Managers by creating tailored proposals, handling client correspondence, and preparing detailed sales and performance reports. Provide regular updates on the impact and outcomes of campaigns.
Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams to deliver high-quality service and ensure the smooth execution of partnership programs. Respond to client requests in a timely and professional manner, identifying solutions that meet their needs.
Administrative: You may be required to prepare case studies, impact statements, outcome reports and freight quotes
What We Are Looking For:
Industry Experience: Proven experience in the fashion, textile, or uniform industry, with a solid understanding of sustainability and recycling initiatives.
Business Development Skills: Demonstrated ability to identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities.
Relationship Building: Strong interpersonal skills with a proven ability to establish trust and credibility with key stakeholders, both internal and external.
Sales and Negotiation: Excellent sales and marketing skills, including experience negotiating partnerships and driving revenue growth.
Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messages to different audiences.
Analytical & Strategic Thinking: Ability to evaluate opportunities and develop tailored solutions that deliver both environmental and commercial outcomes.
Process Management: Experience managing multiple partnerships and client portfolios, with a focus on delivering consistent results and tracking performance.
Adaptability & Problem-Solving: Strong ability to navigate complex situations, identify needs, and develop creative solutions.
