About the Role

This role is responsible for administering and optimising the SAS Viya platform supporting the Integrity Management System (IMS). As part of a key fraud detection initiative, you’ll collaborate with technical teams and end users to ensure a secure, high-performing environment, enabling the agency’s strategic outcomes through data and analytics.

Key Responsibilities

• Install, configure, and maintain SAS Viya in a cloud environment
• Provide technical support and issue resolution for SAS IMS users
• Monitor and tune platform performance, usage, and reliability
• Collaborate with IT and business teams in Agile project settings
• Support upgrades, patches, and troubleshooting activities
• Ensure platform security and compliance with governance standards

Skills & Experience

• Minimum 2 years as a SAS Viya Administrator in cloud environments
• Experience with SAS Visual Investigator or IMS preferred
• Understanding of security principles and secure platform practices
• Familiarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, XP, Lean)
• Basic knowledge of Kubernetes and cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
• Strong communication, troubleshooting, and scripting skills (e.g. Python, Shell, JSON)

Australian Citizenship + ability to obtain Negative Vetting 1 security Clearance is a mandatory requirement for this position.
