We are currently seeking a Network Administrator and a Network Engineer to join a federal government agency on long-term 18-month contracts, based in either Geelong or Richmond (VIC).

These roles offer hourly rates between $55 - $61/hour + super, and allow 2 days WFH each week.

These roles offer the opportunity to work on impactful government projects, supporting and maintaining critical network infrastructure and services.

Network Administrator
In this role, you will:

• Provide technical support and resolve network-related issues
• Assist in the maintenance and configuration of LAN/WAN infrastructure
• Monitor network performance and support upgrades and changes
• Maintain accurate technical documentation
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on incidents and change activities

Network Engineer
In this role, you will:

• Design, build, and support enterprise-level network solutions
• Manage secure WAN/LAN environments, including cloud networks (AWS and Azure)
• Support testing, patching, and network performance improvements
• Apply ITIL-aligned processes and contribute to continuous improvement
• Provide expert input on network architecture and security standards

What we’re looking for:

• Experience working in enterprise network environments
• Strong understanding of networking principles, tools, and technologies
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and cloud platforms (preferred)
• Excellent problem-solving and documentation skills
• Australian Citizenship is required due to federal government security requirements
