Job Title: Customer Service Representative / Contact Centre Operator
Location: Newcastle, NSW
Pay: $36.11/hr + Super
Contract: 6 Months, WFH options after Training & Nesting completed
Hours: Full-time (35 hrs/week), Mon–Fri on rotating roster (7am–7pm)
About the Role:
A NSW Government Agency is hiring multiple Customer Service Representatives to join a team in Newcastle. You'll be the first point of contact for customers, providing high-quality service over phone and email.
What We’re Looking For:
- 2–3 years’ customer service experience
- Excellent verbal & written communication
- Intermediate computer skills (Outlook, Teams, typing)
- Fast learner with strong attention to detail
Requirements:
- NSW-based only
- Must attend in-person assessment (90 mins) at Newcastle
- Police check & 2 references
- Reliable internet & smartphone for potential remote working days
