The Role

We currently have a fantastic career opportunity for a motivated Hotel Services Manager to lead our Hotel Operations. As the Hotel Services Manager, you will report to the Executive Assistant Manager of the Hotel and be responsible for coordinating our operational departments efficiently whilst ensuring that our Amora Values are held to the highest standards at all times.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to

Lead the coordination of the hotel's operational Team, including Food & Beverage in particular Conference and Events, Front Office and Kitchen whilst liaising closely with the Sales & Marketing Department

Monitor budgets and supplies to ensure cost-effective operations

Ensure that the operational departments' revenue is maximized, including cost control

Monitor guest feedback with action plans to improve customer service

Manage the roster, wage control, payroll and all financials for the hotel's operational departments

In liaison with the HR Department conferring with team members to resolve any grievances

Actively take part in Work Health and Safety Committee to enforce safety in the workplace

Facilitate a positive workplace culture through effective leadership, collaboration and team development

Develop and implement Customer Service Training for operational Departments

Assisting departments in their daily operational tasks if needed

Ensure Amora standards, policies and procedures are adhered to by all team members

Update policies and procedures if and when required.

Essential attributes

Demonstrated management experience in a luxury hotel environment

Proven ability to make quick decision in responding to evolving situations

Proven experience in supervising employee rostering provisions to ensure coverage across all required hotel services areas

Good knowledge of relevant computer programs used in hotels such as Opera

Have a genuine passion for guest service and exceeding guest expectations

Possess excellent time management skills with the ability to work under pressure

Be comfortable communicating with various internal and external stakeholders

Conduct and present yourself in a respectful and professional manner at all times

Possess degree in Business Administration, or Hotel Management, or similar with relevant experience
