🏨 Hotel Manager – Royal Hotel Ryde | Young Hotels Operations
📍 Location: Ryde, NSW 2112
🕒 Full-Time Permanent Position (38 hours per week)

The Opportunity:
We are currently seeking a driven and hands-on Hotel Manager on a full-time permanent basis to lead our team and oversee the day-to-day operations of the venue. This is a rewarding leadership role ideal for someone with a passion for hospitality and proven experience in venue management.
Key Responsibilities:
Direct and oversee reservation, reception, room service, and housekeeping activities
Arrange and supervise security arrangements, garden, and property maintenance
Manage and supervise all hotel staff, including hiring, training, rostering, and performance evaluation
Plan and oversee bar, restaurant, function, and conference operations
Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, as well as liquor and gaming laws
Monitor and evaluate the quality of guest services and ensure customer satisfaction
Manage budgets, expenses, and financial resources, including oversight of purchasing and stock control
Maintain accurate operational records and prepare regular reports on hotel performance
Provide guests with local tourism information and assist with transportation or tour arrangements when needed
Skills and Experience
Minimum 1+ year of experience in hotel or venue management
A Diploma or higher qualification in hospitality, hotel management, or a related field
Strong leadership and people management skills
Knowledge of relevant compliance requirements (liquor, gaming, OH&S)
Excellent communication, time management, and financial acumen
A hands-on, adaptable, and service-oriented approach
