Role Overview: We are seeking a passionate and motivated Disability Employment Consultant to join our team across Kilmore & Wallan. In this role, you will support individuals with disabilities in finding and maintaining meaningful employment. You will work closely with clients, employers, and community organizations to create tailored employment plans and provide ongoing support. This is a contracted role up to 31st October, 2025.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assess clients' skills, interests, and employment goals
- Develop individualized employment plans
- Provide job search assistance, resume writing, and interview preparation
- Liaise with employers to identify suitable job opportunities
- Offer on-the-job support and coaching to clients
- Maintain accurate records and documentation
- Collaborate with community organizations and service providers
Qualifications:
- Experience in employment services, vocational rehabilitation, or a related field
- Strong understanding of disability issues and employment barriers
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong organizational and time management skills
