Production Room leader

The team at VDS is seeking reliable and experienced production room leaders to work in their production team. The role is Monday to Friday for rotating shifts. The team at VDS has geared up to set a permanent afternoon shift to assist with increasing production output, this will create multiple new opportunities for growth. Your daily task will require you to work on production lines where you will be leading production teams and setting machines while working in the manufacturing of individual supplements ranging from powdered product to capsules and sachets.

Tasks & responsibilities

Efficiently distribute duties and staff along production line

Work closely with Supervisors to set machines up and troubleshoot them

Follow and complete batch documents and internal procedures

Lead the cleaning procedures ensuring hygiene standards are properly followed

Verify the correct use of packaging following product specification

Any other task as required in the production process

Qualifications & experience

Room leader or production assistant experiences preferred

Successfully completed year twelve or equivalent

Must have attention to detail

Mechanically minded individuals preferred

GMP and manufacturing experience preferred but no necessary for correct candidate

Willingness to learn a new skill

Ability to lift 15-25kg

Must be available to work afternoon on Monday to Friday rotating shifts and occasionally on Saturday,

38 hours work week. Permanent part time position for suitable candidates.

Shifting work: Morning shift 7am – 3pm afternoon/night shift (2:45pm - 10:00pm)
