About the Role:
We're looking for an experienced and motivated Packing Team Leader to lead our day shift production team. In this hands-on leadership role, you’ll oversee packing operations, ensure team performance, uphold quality standards, and support a culture of safety and continuous improvement. Reporting to the Production Manager, you’ll play a key role in ensuring our products are packed with precision, care, and efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

Lead and supervise the day shift packing team to meet daily production targets

Monitor and manage workflow, output, and quality on packing lines

Coordinate start-up, shutdown, and line changeovers

Ensure batch and packing documentation is completed accurately and timely

Conduct and oversee line clearances, allergen cleans, and routine sanitation

Support training, onboarding, and upskilling of team members

Promote a safety-first culture and ensure compliance with WHS policies

Act as a point of contact for troubleshooting equipment or production issues

Communicate effectively with supervisors, maintenance, and QA teams

What You’ll Bring:

Previous leadership experience in a food or FMCG manufacturing environment

Strong understanding of packing line operations and food safety standards

A current forklift license (essential)

High attention to detail and strong organisational skills

Great communication and interpersonal abilities

A hands-on, can-do attitude with a proactive approach to problem-solving

Basic computer literacy (Microsoft Office / production systems)

Flexibility to work day shift hours: 6:00am to 2:06pm
