Employment Term: Permanent Part-Time Opportunity, 60.8 hours per fortnight
Location: Cherbourg and Kingaroy (3 days per week in Cherbourg and 1 day per week in Kingaroy)
Remuneration: $73k (pro-rata) + 11.5 % Super + 15,900 NFP Salary Packaging

Your part in our UnitingCare team
We’re seeking an experienced Administration Officer to join our Homelessness support team in Cherbourg and Kingaroy on a Permanent part-time basis, 60.8 hours per fortnight. This role will be based out of Cherbourg three days per week and Kingaroy 1 day per week.
This position is responsible for to contributing to the operational objectives of the program by performing a range of high level and quality administrative functions to support management and operational team.
Duties of this role include;
Undertake a range of administrative functions including, but not limited to, activities that directly support the outcomes of the services in areas such as maintaining quality administrative practices and processes
Arrange internal and external appointments and any associated travel and accommodation requirements
Undertake a range of financial and human resource administrative functions and the operation of relevant business systems including but not limited to; accounts payable; procurement card reconciliation; electronic time and attendance, ordering supplies and reporting to management as required
Using Microsoft Office and/or other business software assist with preparing reports and documentation, minutes, correspondence and presentations, as well as maintaining databases and recording in information systems
Develop, maintain and administer a records management system for receipt, storage and retrieval of records and correspondence
Develop reviews and implement new processes and procedures to support the service to run more effectively
Undertake other administration duties such as reception back up as required
Provide assistance as required with site administrative and maintenance requirements
Organise events, functions, workshops and meetings
Liaise with external providers and suppliers; stationery, IT, facilities for proactive practice management
Provide business support in areas of Human Resources, Fleet Management, Digital Technology, Travel and Workplace Health and Safety as required
What makes a difference for us?
Certificate IV in Business Administration or other relevant qualification
2 years minimum experience in a similar role
Extensive Microsoft Suite skills and knowledge (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
Demonstrated ability to understand and operate multiple business systems and functions
Current Drivers Licence
Positive Blue Card
Strong organisational skills, the capacity to successfully manage competing priorities, maintain attention to detail and meet deadlines
Experience within health, aged care and/or community services sector and not-for-profit sector
